Pursuit of happiness
The strong coffee in the morning gives me the kick and wakes me up. Sometimes brings me back to reality and I think that maybe, the energy is all, chemical induced as it starts to wear off! But sometimes the reason of high gets blurred, especially when my midday coffee remains untouched on the table and I get a happy high looking at my hard earned eureka moments at work! That sets just another day apart from the special days. That’s called happiness. Sometimes when taking the bus in a hurry to meet friends in the city on a Friday evening, I have to stop and miss the bus to slow down to help an elderly person on a wheelchair cross a hurdle on the way. The best part is, when I stop and slow down for a second in doing that gesture, I lose all the anger of missing the bus and the anxiety to reach my destination on time. It feels like someone has pumped in a shot of “Relaxation” into my veins! That’s a flush of happiness much better compared to the expensive, classy, loud happ...
